If you are zoomed out enough, you can spot where plants are and what state they are in. Easy way to spot those thirsty plants in neighbor's back yards.

Currrently animals are useless. If you want to send your friend a gift that is worth something try trees. If they already have a ton of trees, send flowers. Unless of course, they ask for animals.

REALLY help your friends out and reduce the amount of notices they get from farm town... when you rake leaves or water crops also UNDO the automatic notifications.

Some flowers are taller than others. Be nice to your harvesters and choose the shorter flowers to decorate fields.

If you put your trees along the top edge, they won't get in your way as much.

Crops pick easier if you figure out the pattern they were planted in. This is why some people can pick tons of crops, while others run around in circles all the time.

When you go to be hired, be sure to turn ON buildings and trees. When you get there, you can hide them as needed. If they are not on to begin with, they won't appear when you want them. There are lovely juicy trees to be harvested.

If you hire your neighbours to plow for you, you get an additional bonus. You need 10 neighbors to do this.
